Homemade coffee creamer

I love coffee! Well I love fancy coffee drinks, I am still learning to like just the plain taste of coffee. But I am not there yet. So every morning I have my cup off coffee with fancy store-bought creamer….. Ok correction a cup of creamer with a splash of coffee! My favorite is mint mocha. But me being slightly crazy I was trying to cut ingredients I can’t pronounce out of the house. Which meant my beloved coffee creamer was a no go. I searched forever looking for the best homemade creamer that came close. I tried one that used honey, heavy cream and milk. It worked, I still missed my chemical filled creamer though. Well I was out of my homemade and needed creamer. The story gets bad I was out of stuff to make it!! Oh no so searched for different options that worked instead of heavy cream that I had on had. This creamer is easy to make and so close to the real thing. After tasting it, I was ready to just drink the creamer without the coffee! Best part about this recipe it is a great base. Go ahead and add whatever flavors you like. I think coconut mocha would be amazing.

Homemade coffee creamer

You will need
1 14oz. can of sweetened condensed milk
1 cup milk
Things to add
1-2 tablespoon chocolate powder
flavored syrups
flavored extracts

Add all ingredients to a small sauce pan over medium heat. Let heat up, stirring till blended. If you add coco powder might want to strain. Place in airtight container, store in fridge.

I used 5 tablespoons of peppermint syrup. If you use extract I would recommend adding it a teaspoon at a time, till desired flavor is achieved.
